This week, we tackle one of the biggest third-party properties on the system, the first-person shooter classic TUROK: DINOSAUR HUNTER. We delve into the surprisingly storied history of the franchise, and despair at the awkwardness of early first-person platforming.

Woody really nailed it later on in the episode. Because of all the instant death pits, if you don't collect all the triangles "coins" to get one ups you can get stuck in an impossible situation. The enemies respawn almost instantly too, so this is one of the harder games on the N64. If you only play the first level or play with cheats it seems fun, but this is a great example of why you have to play the entire game because it keeps getting worse and worse. One of the most overrated games!
